New York, NY — October 2025 — To celebrate its tenth anniversary, Newvelle Records proudly presents the Newvelle Ten Collection, a curated series of five extraordinary vinyl releases from some of the most exciting voices in contemporary jazz. Each album in the collection pairs meticulous recording and production with striking original artwork by internationally acclaimed visual artist Ragnar Kjartansson, creating a unified experience of sound and vision that exemplifies the label’s commitment to artistry in every form.
“Newvelle Ten is a celebration of everything we’ve built and believed in from the start,” says label head Elan Mehler. “This series feels like both a milestone and a new beginning. Each album pushes the conversation forward while honoring the craft, the community, and the spirit of collaboration that define Newvelle. All five albums were recorded and mixed with care by Marc Urselli (and Rocky Russo on select sessions), mastered by Matthew Lutthans, and pressed at QRP, ensuring that the sonic quality of each release is as exceptional as the music itself. Produced by Elan Mehler and JC Morisseau, the Newvelle Ten Collection represents a decade of dedication to uncompromising artistry, remarkable collaborations, and a unique vision of vinyl as a medium for immersive musical experiences.

Ingrid Jensen’s Landings (Feb 27) features a fearless group with Gary Versace (organ), Marvin Sewell (guitar), and Jon Wikan (drums), plus a guest appearance by tenor legend George Coleman. This ambitious recording balances eight originals with two covers of Paul Motian and Frank Kimbrough, capturing a completely unique band in full creative flight.

Seer — Loren Stillman with Craig Taborn, Thomas Morgan (Apr 24)
Loren Stillman’s Seer (Apr 24) features a remarkable trio with Craig Taborn on piano and Thomas Morgan on bass. Stillman’s distinctive alto and soprano saxophone is complemented by Taborn’s harmonic sophistication and Morgan’s lyrical depth. For All Your Flowers — Skúli Sverrisson with Bill Frisell (Aug 1)
Finally, the collection closes with Skúli Sverrisson and Bill Frisell’s For All Your Flowers (Aug 1). Building on the critical success of their 2018 collaboration Strata, this duo recording finds the pair further refining a sound entirely their own. Sverrisson’s intricate bass work supports Frisell’s signature guitar voice, yielding an intimate, transformative dialogue that is both tender and expansive.
